Professor Hobart King, who holds a Ph.D. in geology, asked us to design a template for his geology.com website. Chief among the challenges was to create a look and feel that measures up to geology.com's excellent, authoritative content — and to design a template that could stretch to fit the occasional oversized photo without breaking or chopping off the "look" of the design, plus a color scheme could that could accomodate numerous colors without looking "off".

"Your template design is very inventive. I have not seen anything like it on any other site. I was very unhappy with how the top banner of the original site looked "chopped off" on pages used to display the large images — but I didn't have any ideas on how to banner those pages nicely. This is one of the main reasons that I sought professional help. That and the fact that the domain deserves better than I could produce on my own."
