Politicards

Michael Metzler of Action Publishing brought us in to create a website for Politicards, the political deck of cards of its clients, illustrator Peter Green and comedy writer Christopher Smith.

Politicards are decks of hilarious politically-oriented high-quality playing cards covering a number of U.S. Presidential elections, and gaining the attention of Washington since the launch of the first deck in 1974.

Designing around a logo by renowned graphics artist Michael Manoogian and Messrs. Green and Smith, and humorous input from our clients, political writers and pundits, we organized a great number of pages into a workable, easy-to-use whole.

At Mr. Metzler's request, we customized an e-cards program as a method of "viral" marketing -- allowing the website's visitors to help publicize Politicards.

Politicards.com was accepted into Yahoo, ODP, and the now-defunct Snap Go Live Directories within four days, and Politicards press releases have appeared in Yahoo Finance, Excite, and other online publications.

However, in all honesty, we cannot say that this result is solely because of our work — perhaps it was just in the cards.
