With its fast-as-blazes download, this uncluttered design is based on clean, elegant lines that focus the text with precision and clarity — utilizing the lines as part of the design itself.

The "design" part of web design needn't always be as complex and jam-packed as possible. Just as with clothing design, there's much to be said for designing with elegance, the artful play of lines, balance and spacing.
